The Opportunity

India is one of the world’s fastest-growing markets — and one of the hardest to enter without trusted relationships on the ground.

For many U.S. companies, the barrier to India isn’t ambition — it’s knowing whom to trust, how business is really done, and where cultural expectations differ from what works at home. A strong product or service can stall on the wrong partner, an unfamiliar negotiation style, or a distributor who looked right on paper.

Our consulting practice exists to shorten that curve. We help you approach India with practical knowledge and cultural awareness — reducing the barriers to entry and improving the odds that your first move is the right one, whether you’re exploring the market for the first time or accelerating a strategy already underway.

An attorney, business consultant, educator, and executive whose perspective on the U.S.–India relationship is grounded in more than theory. He has served as Executive Director of a U.S.–India operation, responsible for strategic growth, business development, operational integration, and relationship management across both countries; and as Dean of the School of Law at Woxsen University in Hyderabad, where he built partnerships with business leaders, government stakeholders, and academic institutions throughout India.

Common Questions

Before you reach out.

Do you provide legal representation inside India?
These are business consulting services — market-entry strategy, partner identification, and relationship building — not legal representation in India. Where a matter calls for licensed legal counsel in either country, we help you engage the right professionals.
What kinds of U.S. companies do you work with?
Manufacturers, service providers, technology companies, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and other businesses evaluating opportunities in India — whether exploring the market for the first time or accelerating a strategy already in motion.
How do you help identify partners or distributors?
Through partnership identification, distributor and representative evaluation, and strategic introductions drawn from professional networks built across the Indian business community over more than a decade on the ground.
What makes this perspective different from a typical consultant?
Twenty years practicing U.S. law and twelve years living and working in Hyderabad, including serving as a law school dean there. That combination means understanding what U.S. businesses expect while navigating the culture, professional practices, and trusted relationships that determine outcomes in India.
Can you present to our members, association, or conference?
Yes. We contribute presentations, webinars, workshops, conference sessions, trade missions, and written resources on doing business in India, U.S.–India commercial relations, cross-cultural negotiation, and export market-entry strategy.
